The voting list from 1903 Federal Electoral Rolls of the Upper Murray was used to create this tea towel. We used the following polling places as references.

Victoria: Indi Division: Corryong, Cudgewa, Tintaldra and Walwa.

NSW: Hume Division: Jingellic, Khancoban, Tooma, Ournie

As there were large numbers of surnames we selected those that are linked to the Upper Murray district and history.

Please note: Volunteers have made every effort to correctly add all local names accurately. As there were over 470 names, some names were removed if they could not be found on future Electoral Rolls or in the Corryong Courier. If an error was made please politely contact the museum so that future prints are correct. We will not respond to aggresive emails or phone calls.
